Emily Wethington is excited to return for another fun summer with Normandy Barracudas Swim Team as a Head Coach. Emily started her swimming career when she was 9 years old at Normandy. She swam competitively for 7 years at CAC and 2 years at Anderson Barracudas where she qualified for YMCA Nationals and USS Junior Nationals. She also swam 4 years at Loveland High School where she qualified for Ohio State Championships all 4 years. Emily graduated from Loveland High School in 1998. She then went on to swim in college at Northern Michigan and University of Cincinnati and majored in Health Promotions. Previously she was an assistant coach at Mason Manta Rays for 5 years and Anderson Barracudas for 7 years where she produced Top 16 swimmers, National swimmers both YMCA and USS, HS State champions and Zone champions. Along with coaching, Emily received her Masters in Early Childhood Education and has taught in Cincinnati Public Schools for the past seven years. She resides in Loveland with her 3 daughters Carlie, Taylor and Jordyn.

Meghan has been a Normandy Barracuda for 14 years now and is returning as an assistant coach at Normandy for her fourth season! Meghan was a part of the Loveland High School Varsity Swim Team for 4 years as well as a Coach in training for 4 seasons. She is a 2019 graduate from Loveland High School and attends Miami University to study Speech Pathology and Audiology, with a minor in Child Studies and Youth Development. Meghan can’t wait to have a blast this season with all of the Barracudas!

Coach Cade has been swimming since he was three years old and swam for Normandy in the summer from age 5-18. He also swam for CAC for four years, and Loveland High School for four years (2 years being a captain). During his time at Loveland, I helped multiple relays go to Southwest Ohio High School Swimming Classic Finals, win silver and bronze in the 200 medley and 400 free relay at our conference championship in 2020, and to districts three of my four years. He has been coaching with the Mercy HealthPlex SeaWolves for four seasons (2 years) and was an assistant swim coach for the Loveland High School Swim Team for the 2021-2022 school year (while being the interim head coach for a month at just 19 years old). Coach Cade graduated from Loveland HS in 2020 and is currently attending Xavier University studying Music Education. Coach Cade is so excited to join the Normandy coaching staff and get to know all the kids!

Katie began her swimming career at Normandy at the age of 6. Katie is currently attending MND and participating in the MND swim team. She also swam at the Blue Ash YMCA for 3 years. She participated in the CIT program at Normandy for 3 years and was the 'Cuda Junior Coach last summer. She is so excited for the start of this season! Go Barracudas!!
