Leaving Normandy
BONDED MEMBERS
If you are a fully bonded Member of Normandy and wish to leave the club, you must fill out a Bond Surrender Form and mail it, along with your bond to PO Box 41, Loveland, OH 45140.
If you have misplaced your bond, a Lost Bond Affidavit may be used in place of your bond. Because the bond has a monetary value, we must have either the actual bond or the affidavit. Bonds must be returned by the April 1st deadline to avoid a deduction in the bond's value.
Bonds are paid back once new bonds are sold. It’s a one in, one out system. When we are at full capacity, bonds are paid back within one year. When our pool is not at capacity, it can take a few years for your bond to be paid back. Please make sure Normandy has your current mailing and email address. Your bond value is $300 unless you returned your bond past the April 1st deadline or you incurred a late fee throughout your membership. If you would like to know the value of your bond, please contact [email protected]
If you wish to sell your bond to someone else, please fill out a Quit Claim Deed. The new family would then turn in the Deed along with their membership application. Bonds can be sold at any time, including when they are being held in trust by Normandy. Contact Normandy Membership with any questions.
SEASONAL MEMBERS
A seasonal member is anyone who was in the process of purchasing a bond but had not completed their third payment installment. Seasonal members are not entitled to any monetary return on their bond since the bond was not yet fully purchased. Seasonal members simply need to email Normandy Membership to inform the membership chair of their intent to leave the club.
